Each year, in communities all across the United States and Canada, families, friends, neighbors and teams from local businesses and national companies come together for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS's) Light The Night Walk events to bring help and hope to people battling blood cancers.

Funds raised by walkers provide:

• Lifesaving blood cancer research
• Financial assistance to cover patient expenses for transportation, medication and testing
• Free educational materials and events for patients and their families
• Local programs such as Family Support Groups and First Connection, a peer-to-peer counseling program
• Comprehensive, personalized assistance through our Information Resource Center

Hosted by the Shady Glen Club of Prospect, KY, RIVERFEST! is a daylong celebration featuring a variety of music styles along the banks of the Ohio River, off Rose Island Road.

Proceeds from RIVERFEST! will help fund EDGE Outreach of Louisville. EDGE Outreach works with individuals and organizations to offer help through a variety of water solutions, vision clinics and local humanitarian efforts in the Kentuckian area, as well as around the world. RIVERFEST! is fun for the whole family and offers Classic Rock, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Christian Rock and Southern Rock. Gates open at 12:00 noon. The live music begins at 4 PM continuing until approximately midnight. Food and beverages will be sold at the event with proceeds to EDGE Outreach.

The Shady Glen Club, founded in the early 1940’s is located in one of the of most beautiful spots on the Ohio River in Prospect, KY.The stage sits right on the riverbank allowing the area boating community to beach or anchor out for the day and enjoy the festivities.
